Broken hearts and dogs that die,
Seems to be the reason why
Country songs sound so sad,
And why the music is so bad.
I guess the west ain't so grand
With levis, boots and cows to brand
A tough life yes, but the one they chose
Still they have the right complain I suppose
For they settled the land and tamed it good
With harsh lives led; sacrifice withstood
Only to see our lives of thankless luxury
Growing fat on video games, while watching TV
